Terms and Conditions
We want you to enjoy your training with Swift, riding a motorcycle can be fun but the need to be serious about your personal safety is a basic necessity in order to allow this.
Here are the basic rules you must follow while training with us:
1. Knowledge of the Highway Code is a basic requirement that you will need to meet and show in order to train with us and ride on the road. If it is clear that your understanding of it is poor and in the instructor’s view this becomes dangerous then you would need to return, no refund is given in this instance.
2. If it is clear to your instructor that you are struggling with control of a larger motorcycle then a smaller cc bike can be substituted. If a large bike (above 125cc) is dropped or damaged on more than a couple of occasions then this will be decided at the instructors discretion.
3. Swift and its instructor(s) shall have no liability whether in contract or negligence or otherwise, in respect of your death or personal injury, nor in respect of any damage to property or any other loss as a direct or indirect result of taking part in training.
4. You must follow all instructions and advice given by your instructor. Any incident of ignoring this either on or off road can mean your training and/or session can and will be terminated. No refund given.
5. You will indemnify Swift, its instructors, agents and officers against all liabilities of whatever nature, howsoever in the event that you fail to follow such instruction or advice.
6. Damage to our equipment must be reported to your instructor. We have 10 days to write to you to confirm damage and cost to repair or replace. Any costs presented are for you to bare.
7. You will be responsible for ensuring that you wear and properly utilise adequate safety equipment and clothing, failing to do so may result in you being unable to ride.
You must bring and wear your own sturdy boots for all courses. No refund given if this condition is not met.
8. You understand that Swift will loan such equipment but understand that if you choose to use your own clothing or equipment you take sole responsibility for verifying the state of repair and adequacy of such equipment and clothing.
9. You will not be (whilst training or whilst undergoing an assessment) under the influence of alcohol or drugs, whether prescribed or otherwise.
10. You must not be suffering from any illness or injury which is likely to affect your ability to control a motor vehicle. You MUST tell us of any medical conditions so we are aware if any problems should occur, let us know anything you think is relevant.
11. You take full responsibility for any offences or alleged offences committed whilst you are in control of the motorcycle used.
12. No training will be undertaken unless payment has been made in full prior to the commencement of training on any particular day.
